Body Contouring’s New Shape
Many people have stubborn pockets of fat that are seemingly impossible to get rid of, regardless of diet and exercise. SculpSure is a light-based contouring system which reduces stubborn fat, helping you have a slimmer and more natural appearance without the need for surgery or recovery time.
This innovative treatment uses light to disrupt fat levels at the subcutaneous level and lower the quantity of fat cells in the region without damaging the skin or its surrounding tissue. The immune system then clears the body of any of the resulting dead fat cells and the area that was treated is shrunken.
Sculpsure is a non-invasive approach to the breakdown of fat and it takes much less time than any other treatments which are available right now. Patients with stubborn areas of fat that aren’t disappearing through diet or exercise tend to show the best results, though this treatment isn’t ideal for people who are more obese, pregnant, or breastfeeding.
A clinical study of over 100 patients revealed that the procedure can reduce the fat layer thickness by up to twenty-four per cent, (a single treatment with an average reduction in fat volume as measured by MRI; Clinical and Histological Evaluations of a 1060nm Laser Device for Non-Invasive Fat Reduction, John W. Decorato, M.D., FACS. Rafael Sierra, Ph.D., Bo Chen, Ph.D., Westford, MA, 2014). Results can be seen in as little as six weeks with optimal outcomes in 12 weeks. The 25-minute procedure doesn’t require anesthesia, and has no downtime so it is the perfect lunch-time fat busting fix.
HOW IT WORKS
SculpSure’s laser has a wavelength which has an affinity for adipose (fat) and there is an integrated cooling system in the applicator itself to avoid burning the skin. There is no pulling of the skin with SculpSure because there is no suction involved with this laser. The device is placed flat on top of the targeted tissue. Daily activities can be resumed immediately after treatment.
